Advanced Generation

This is a method for creating larger and more detailed courses: it is designed for a greater volume of source materials and deeper elaboration of topics than standard step-by-step generation. It is launched from the same "Create Course" section -> "Evolve Course Generation". The difference lies in the volume of source materials and the depth of elaboration of the final course. Based on that - the timing of such generation will take 24-96 hours due to the sophisticated resources needed.

⚠️ Note: Generating a course consumes one course allocation from your account subscription. The allocation is consumed when generation starts and will not be restored if the course is deleted or regenerated later.

Step 1. Course request form

No you have to fill in the course request form. This form your technical assignment to the platform - the more accurate and detailed you are completing the form, the less changes you'll need to request in the final result.

Enter the basic information about the future course:

  • Course title: Specify the title of the course - concise and reflecting its content.

  • Who is this for: Specify who the course is intended for: the role or profession of the learners, their department, level, context. For example: Client Account Managers, Team Leads, Customer Support Specialists in a company in such industry/territory.

  • Target audience: Specify whether the course is intended for new or current employees. This will help the system adapt the content to the skill level - for beginners or more experienced professionals.

  • After completing the course, employees should be able to. Outline the goals of the course, for example: "After completing the course, the employee will possess the knowledge and practical skills to perform tasks related to [topic]."

Now proceed to the Sources part:

  • Upload your files: materials based on which the course will be generated.

    These can be: PDF files, presentations, instructions, regulations, text documents, company training materials, as well as videos in MP4 format.

  • Material processing preference: choose one of the options.


    Stylistically adapt

    Unify tone and format without changing the meaning (e.g. formal tone).

    Simplify and shorten

    Use if you want a concise version - essentials only, adapted for readability.

    Keep as is

    Just check for errors and convert into course format - no style changes.

  • Estimated duration of theory section: specify the desired duration of the theoretical part. This is the time the participant should spend studying the theoretical material of the course (excluding practical assignments).

  • I have a ready-made course structure: upload a file with a structured training plan. The system will generate content that matches your structure as closely as possible.

  • I uploaded a video: check threbox if applicable.

Important: The course is created solely based on the uploaded materials. The more accurately you describe the requirements and provide data, the higher the quality of the result will be.

Fill in the Assignment settings:

  • Generate task: Yes/No

There are guidelines for number of tasks based on the desired course duration:

15-20 minutes - per chapter: up to 3 quizzes + 2 AI questions; final assessment: up to 5 quizzes + 3 AI questions

20-40 minutes - per chapter: up to 5 quizzes + 3 AI questions; final assessment: up to 7 quizzes + 4 AI questions

40-60 minutes - per chapter: up to 7 quizzes + 4 AI questions; final assessment: up to 10 quizzes + 5 AI questions

60-90 minutes - per chapter: up to 10 quizzes + 5 AI questions; final assessment: up to 12 quizzes + 7 AI questions

We will generate 20-30% more tasks so that you have options to choose from.


​Set the final course assignment: The final task is created with basic parameters. After generation, you can configure the attempts, timer, scores, and passing rules.

Set up style and content delivery

This is the final part of the course setting form before you can run the generation process.

  • Microlearning: This parameter determines the length of the lessons. Microlearning – each lesson in the course will be no more than 10 sentences long.
    ​Medium - 10-30 sentences.
    ​Long – more than 30 sentences.

  • Course language: choose in which language do you want the course to appear. It may differ from your materials language.

  • Tone of voice: defines the style of content delivery (e.g., Formal, Friendly, Neutral/Simple).
    ​

  • Add a character in the course: Choose a character to increase learner engagement. You can upload your own character or allow the system to generate one automatically. The character will accompany participants throughout the entire course.

  • Add diagrams for the material: select "Yes", and the system will generate diagrams applicable to the uploaded educational content. Diagrams will help learners visually assimilate the material.

  • Add voiceover: Voiceover is available for the following languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian.
    ​

  • Add end-of-chapter summaries: If Yes, each chapter ends with a brief recap of key points.
    ​

  • Add interesting facts: If Yes, relevant curious facts will be added to engage learners.
    ​

  • Anything else to include in the course: optional field for your additional requests to take into account.

Before submitting, make sure all fields are filled out correctly and click "Create a course". Your task is to clearly describe the goals and expectations for the course. Evolve AI will do the rest for you.

You can leave the page while this course is being generated.

Step 2. Course generation

The course will start generating automatically - you can close the page or even the browser; the process does not depend on your device. The average generation time is up to 96 hours.

When generation is complete, the account owner and/or course administrator will receive an email notification of readiness.

Resources and limitations in AI course creation

Each course is created exclusively based on the materials you upload. The platform does not use external sources and does not search for information on the internet - only your content.

We care about the quality of our courses, so we have introduced limitations on the size and number of uploaded files:

  • Files: Up to 3 per course

Course structure, mascot images, and assignment documents are not counted

  • Presentations: Max 100 MB (.pptx), up to 100 slides

  • Text documents:

- Up to 20 MB: .doc / .docx / .xls / .xlsx

- Up to 50 MB: .pdf

- Max 100 pages per document

- No more than 300 pages per course

  • Video content: Total length no more than 2 hours 30 minutes

  • Generation time: it will take from 24 to 96 hours depending on the quantity and format of materials

Up to 100 pages - 24 hours

101-200 pages - 48 hours

201-300 pages - 72 hours

Adding video: +24 hours

Why is this important?

Exceeding file size limits can dilute the learning context and reduce course quality. At Evolve, course quality is one of the top priorities - that is why we set limits on uploaded file sizes. If your material exceeds these limits, we recommend splitting it into several smaller courses and then combining them into a structured learning path. This helps maintain focus and improves learning outcomes.
