Logging In as a User (for Administrators)

The Evolve platform now provides Administrators with certain permissions the ability to log in as a specific user. This is often necessary when a problem arises and needs to be resolved without involving the end user.

Below is the instruction on how to log in as a user.

Role Assignment

This functionality is protected by a separate access right called "Login as User," which is not added to Account Owner permissions by default. A new default role has been created for this function — "User Session Administrator."

Therefore, the responsible people must first be assigned this role in addition to the one they already have on the platform. This allows transparent tracking of who has access to this functionality and strict control over it.

You can also create new customized roles that include this access right.

Logging In as a User

A user with the right to log in on behalf of another user can do so from the user list page.

  1. Go to the user list page.

  2. Select the desired user you want to log in as.

  3. Click the icon next to the trash can and confirm the action. Logging in as the user may take a few seconds.

After this, you will see the user's main page exactly as they see it themselves. If the user has administrator rights, you will also be able to switch to the corresponding administrator sections.

No matter which page you switch to, you will always see a warning at the top indicating that you are currently in another user's mode.

To exit the user session, click the "Stop Viewing" button.
