What is Important to Know About Uploaded SCORM Courses

Uploading a Course in SCORM Format

If you already have a ready-made course in SCORM format, for example, exported from another LMS, you can upload it to Evolve and use it alongside courses created on the platform.

How to Upload a SCORM Course

  1. Go to the "My Courses" section.

  2. In the top right corner of the page, click "Create course".

  3. Select the "Import SCORM" option.

  4. Upload the course archive in SCORM format (.zip) and wait for the upload to complete.

What is Important to Know About Uploaded SCORM Courses

  • Content imported in SCORM format cannot be edited in the Evolve editor: the structure, texts, assignments, animations, and interactive elements remain the same as in the original file. However, if there is a need to edit such courses, you can use the Deep Generation option by uploading the SCORM file as the initial source for course generation.

  • At the same time, the course is fully ready to work on the platform — it can be assigned to employees, completion can be tracked, and results can be analyzed in the general analytics just like any other course.

  • The simulator cannot currently be connected to a course uploaded in SCORM format; this feature will be available a little later.

Do you want to not just transfer the course, but "revive" it?

After import, Evolve can analyze the content of the old SCORM course and enhance it with modern interactive elements, up-to-date tests, and AI-based feedback — a static archived course transforms into a dynamic one in just a few minutes. Read more in the article "SCORM + AI: Import and Export".
