Development Tracks: How to Create and Configure

A development track is an integrated training program that combines any type of activity (courses, individual assessments (Assessment Center), group assessments (360°), and events) into a single sequence or a parallel set.

As of the platform update on June 15, 2026, development tracks are listed in a separate section in the user profile ("My Development Tracks") and support all activity types, not just courses.

Creating a Track

  1. In the left menu, go to the "Development Tracks" section.

  2. In the top right corner, click "Add Track".

  3. Fill out the form on the left side of the screen:

  • Track Name (required field).

  • Description (optional) - a brief explanation for participants on what the track includes.

  • Link - generated automatically. It can be copied and sent to participants for direct access to the track.

Track Composition

On the right side of the screen is the "Track Composition" block.

Track Type - select one of two modes:

  • Sequential - the next activity opens only after the previous one is completed.

  • Parallel - all activities are available immediately, and can be completed in any order.

Adding Activities - click the

"+ Add assessment / group assessment / course / event" button.

In the window that opens, select the type:

Type

Description

Individual assessment

Add an individual assessment from the Assessment Center

Group assessment

Add a group assessment (360°/PR, etc.)

Course

Add a course from the library

Event

Add an offline or online event

The order of activities can be changed by dragging and dropping using the icon next to the number. Unnecessary activities can be removed using the trash icon.

Deadline for each activity

A separate deadline can be set for each added activity. Click on the drop-down list under the activity and select one of three options:

  • Individual deadline - each participant is given the same number of days for completion; the countdown starts from the moment training begins.

  • Fixed deadline - all participants must complete the activity by a single set date, regardless of when they started.

  • Open-ended - there are no time limits; the participant completes the activity at their own pace.

Adding Participants

In the "Participants" block (available once the Development Track has been created and you proceed to the next step), click "Add users to track". Participants can be added during creation or at any time afterward — this does not affect the settings of existing participants.

After adding, click "Create Track" (or "Save" when editing).

Managing the Track

  • Click on the track name in the list to view its composition and the list of participants.

  • The "Edit Track" button (gear icon) opens the editing form. When changing a track that has already been assigned to users, the system will warn you that changes will affect the current progress of the participants.

  • Tracks can be deleted from the main page of the section.

⚠️ Users do not see activities whose deadline has not yet arrived. However, activities they have already started or completed within the track will be displayed for them separately.

How the user sees the track

After the track is assigned to an employee, it appears in a dedicated section of the left menu — "My Development Tracks" (in the "Training Center" block). This section is separated from "My Courses" and displays all assigned tracks in their entirety, including courses, assessments, and events within them.

How the Administrator sees the track

More details on how the development track looks in a user profile can be found in the article "User Card".
